Sheila Fleet is one of Scotland’s leading designer-makers of gold, silver and platinum jewellery, where all her jewellery is designed, made and packaged at her workshop in Orkney, Scotland. The company has gone from strength to strength, as Sheila Fleet has developed a reputation in Britain and around the world for distinctiveness and quality.
Our extensive range of engagement and wedding rings are available in silver with enamel, gold set with precious stones and platinum.
Palladium, a relatively new metal, white in colour, is also available in all collections, and proving to be very popular.
Careful polishing and finishing is crucial to the final look of the piece of jewellery. It takes great skill to achieve the right lustre, without removing the subtle shapes and markings within a design. Sheila comments “The shapes, textures and colours of the Orkney landscape are a constant source of inspiration. Something will catch my eye – the way the light reflects on the water; the sudden appearance of a rainbow; the shape of a rock or headland”.
You can view her collections online or at our workshop in the Orkney Islands. We also have a Sheila Fleet jewellery gallery in St Stephen Street, Edinburgh, where you can talk to knowledgeable staff about how the individual pieces are made; or see our jewellery and get specialist advice at the independent stockists listed on www.sheila-fleet.co.uk
All Sheila Fleet jewellery is made to order in the UK and most items can be made in silver, gold and platinum.
